La Quinta By Wyndham Oakland - Hayward Hotel, Hayward

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms smelled really bad, like mold and pee, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, I was concerned about not getting my $100 deposit back if there were any damages or smells in the room. On the bright side, the service was friendly despite witnessing some questionable actions. The location, although close to the Oakland Airport, was not very appealing, being across from the employee lounge and housekeeping area. The dining experience left much to be desired, with limited breakfast options available.

The hotel rooms were very big and could accommodate 5 to 6 people, which was great for a family of four like mine. The noisy teens in nearby rooms were a bit disturbing until late at night, but overall, the rooms were spacious and located conveniently on the 2nd floor.

The hotel rooms were extremely clean and spacious, and the staff were good. The breakfast was amazing, although the room felt a bit stuffy initially, but opening the window helped freshen it up. The only downside was the proximity to the Vending and Ice Machine which buzzed all night.
